The Aikam Electrical Scholarship
Each year, Aikam awards one scholarship to a student in the Sea to Sky corridor pursuing a career in the electrical trade or a related technical field. We believe access to education shouldn't depend on your starting point.
The scholarship is open annually. Recipients are chosen based on commitment to the trade, community involvement, and financial need. No minimum grades required — we're looking for drive, not perfection.

For students seriously considering a career in electrical work, Aikam offers an optional one-month training placement. You'll work alongside our licensed team on real projects — not in a classroom.
This isn't a formal apprenticeship — it's a chance to see if the trade is right for you before you commit. You'll learn how a job site runs, how electrical systems are planned and installed, and what it takes to do this at a professional level.
